Jacqueline “Jackie” Hartley, 79 of Fostoria, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at her home.
She was born January 12, 1939 in Fostoria, Ohio, to Robert W. and Evelyn R. (Millhime) Beam. She married Paul D. Hartley October 25, 1959 at High St. Church in Fostoria, Ohio, and he survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving is son, Doug (Lil Cupp) Hartley of Cygnet; daughters, Jen (Cas) Anez and Paula (Ron) Sander, both of Fostoria; brother, Terry (Mary Ann) Beam of Fostoria; sister, Jan (the late Herb) Thibodeau of Fostoria; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Larry Beam.
Jackie retired from Fostoria City Schools, where she worked as a secretary. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church and a graduate of Fostoria High School. She was a den mother for church of Christ cub scouts and a camper host at East Harbor State Park for 20 years.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria, Ohio, with Chaplain Harold Schutte officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Fostoria, Ohio.
