Carl D. “Butch” Bricker, 77 of Fostoria, Ohio died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home
He was born on November 18, 1941 in Fremont, Ohio to Raymond and Marjorie (Stall) Bricker. He married Judith Kissling on June 3, 1961 in Amsden, Ohio and she survives along with several nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents, brothers, William and Tom Bricker and his sisters, Carolyn Earl and Betty Ecker.
Butch was a 1959 Graduate of Jackson Liberty High School, a U.S. Army Veteran during the Viet Nam Era; He retired in 2003 as the Plant Manager for the Fostoria Concrete Co. with over 43 years of service. Butch was a Charter member of the Fostoria AMVET, member of the Fostoria American Legion and the Senior League at Lakeland Golf Course. He was an avid bowler for many years, Big Ohio State, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria, with the Reverend William Bentley officiating, with Military Honors to be conducted by the United Veterans of Fostoria. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Good Shepherd Nursing Home or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
