Ryan Charles Williams, 40, of Las Vegas and formerly of Fostoria, passed away September 7, 2019 in Las Vegas. He was born March 9, 1979 in Torrance, CA to Schuyler & Charlene Williams.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Schuyler “Big Sky” and Charlene Williams, wife Chasity Williams, daughter Catalina Williams, brother Schuyler “Sky” , and sister-in-law Sharon Williams all of Las Vegas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ryan was a 1997 graduate of Fostoria High School and a proud member of the 1996 Redmen State Championship Football team. He was also a proud student of The Ohio State University. After moving to Las Vegas he entered an apprenticeship program with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 357. Ryan was extremely gracious to become a brother in the Local 357. This was his dream career. He had finally found something he was proud to be a part of and which was equally proud to have him. A home amongst brothers that exuberate loyalty, respect and appreciate the character of a man that is driven by those same principles. Ryan, the one of a kind man that redefined the definition of loyalty, friendship and honor, pretty much the whole playbook when it comes to being a man. He was extremely proud to be working alongside his IBEW brothers on the new Las Vegas Raiders’ football stadium.
Ryan aka Ron O’Neil was very loyal to the ones he loved and those he called his friends. He was funny and had that Williams' laugh. Ryan enjoyed a good story, a drink with friends and spending time with his family. He was a good husband and father to his pride and joy, Catalina. The birth of Catalina was a real game changer for Ryan. He believed that through his daughter he could make the world a better place. Ryan will be missed by many.
