Kevin John McGowan, 58, of Fostoria, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green, Ohio. He was born February 12, 1961 in Toledo, Ohio the son of John & Mary Anne (Flint) McGowan.
Kevin is survived by his mother Mary Anne McGowan of Bowling Green, daughters Jennifer (Roman) Mountjoy, Staci (Jeffrey) Fletes & Alaina McGowan all of San Diego, son Gabriel McGowan of Beverly, brothers John McGowan of Oak Harbor, Bill (Michele Haman) McGowan of Versailles, KY, sister Chrissy Chretien of Rochester, New Hampshire, grandchildren Jason Fletes, Darius, Kailyn & Corrina Acevedo,Shelby & Ethan Mountjoy.
Kevin is preceded in death by his grandparents, father, John McGowan, brother Joseph McGowan & brother-in-law TerryShafer.
Kevin was the founder and owner of Computer Abilities in Fostoria. He was also a member of the Fostoria Eagles Club and had a great passion for music, fishing, coffee talks with his children, nature walks, traveling, photography, and his “Friday Night Meetings.”
Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria.
Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Wendelin Catholic Church with Father Todd Dominique and Father Thomas McQuillian officiating. Burial is Saturday at noon at Calvary Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio.
Memorials can be made to the Special Olympics for which he supported.
