Clair H. Cook, 78 of Fostoria, Ohio died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his home. He was born on
June 16, 1940 in Houcktown, Ohio to Howard & Mary (Compton) Cook. Clair married
Patsy Pickens on April 8, 1960 in Fostoria, Ohio
Surviving is his wife, Patsy Cook of Fostoria Sons, Teric (Elizabeth) Cook of Marblehead, Trent (Rene) Cook of Risingsun daughters, Tracy (Kevin) Shreffler of Helena and Tina (Gary) Lowery
of Fostoria sister, Sherry DeCenso of Clarksville, TN ; eight grandchildren Brian (Ashley) Birkmire, Sarah (Jeff) Smith, Sarah (Ryan) Cobb, Andy Bryant, Donovan Birkmire, Cody Cook, Brent Williams and Skylar Cook and 7 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Gerald and Roland Cook, sisters, Sharlet Eder and Jeanette Conley.
Clair was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Fostoria VFW, American Legion and the United Sportsman’s Club. He retired from Chrysler in Perrysburg where he was a skilled trades painter with over thirty years of service.
Clair loved traveling, collecting antiques, dancing with his wife and the Casino’s. He enjoyed his winters in Florida traveling and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by many.
