Jeffrey A. Colburn, 50, of Brookside Drive, Fostoria, passed away Wednesday morning, March 7, 2012 at his home. He was born on April 26,1961 in Columbus to Clair and Darlene (Hauck) Colburn. He married Gladys Santiago on September 6, 1986 in Fremont.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Gladys Colburn of Fostoria; sons, Caleb and Logan Colburn at home; mother, Darlene Colburn of Steubenville; brother, Curt Colburn of Columbus; sisters, Robin Ricker of Columbus and Melody (Bruce) Tankovich of Heath; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clair Colburn; paternal grandparents, C. Marvin and Velma Colburn Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Merwood and Hermine Hauck.
Jeff was a service technician for Columbia Gas for over 30 years. He was a 1979 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, an avid Ohio State fan, and a member of the Fostoria Brown's Backers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria, where the Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2012, with a wake service at 3:45 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria. Burial will be at St. Wendelin Parish Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fostoria Athletic Boosters, St. Wendelin Education Foundation or to St. Wendelin Parish.
